De Bruyne injured, to miss matches

Manchester city's midfielder is going through four weeks on the sidelines, he is likely to miss the trip to Camp Nou on October 19 and potentially the derby on October 26

He limped out of Manchester City's 3-1 victory at Swansea City on Saturday afternoon after performing in two of the Blues' goals.

Pep Guardiola disclosed after the match that De Bruyne would undergo scans on Sunday and according to sources close to the player those first tests detected a  tear in his muscle

De Bruyne is expected to travel to Barcelona by Monday for further tests and to commence better treament treatment.
De Bruyne's countryman, Vincent Kompany, also spent time in Barcelona after having a thigh injury back in May, although Dr Eduardo Mauri, who helped treat the center back, is at City having been brought to the club by Guardiola.
The forth coming international break has reduced the impact of De Bruyne's injury on Manchester City's fixture list, but he is not likely to be fit for the match against Barcelona in the Champions League on October 1 9.
He will also miss games against Celtic and Tottenham in the next week, and the match with Everton on October 15.

A Premier League meeting with Southampton follows the Barcelona game at Camp Nou, before City travelling  to Old Trafford for the EFL Cup game against Manchester United on October 26.

We hope to see you soon De Bruyne!
